Tank refurbishment programme underway
In 1960 this Midland Oil site was designed and put together to handle large volumes of bulk oils.
Site maintenance is a daily challenge to keep our output volumes to a maximum.
One thing that is extremely costly is tank refurbishment and last done in 2000 the site was looking tired.
The new shareholders of Midland Oil Group have constantly invested and the latest is a refurbishment of the 125 tanks across the 2 sites in Halesowen, West Midlands.
Thanks to NPC Tankers & Plant (Paul Cahill) a large project has begun to tank groups of tanks with a high resistant paint and new signage bringing the site up to a high standard whilst brightening up the appearance for customers and suppliers that visit the facility.
A two year plan to complete all tanks whilst replacing some de-commissioned tanks is well underway.
