High performance low viscosity extreme pressure neat cutting, grinding and honing oil
VARCUT 2155 is an extreme pressure oil developed for use on steel and ferrous alloy metals in a wide range of high pressure and performance machining applications. The product is designed for severe duty general machining and grinding including deep hole boring, broaching and gear manufacturing, grinding and honing of ferrous materials.
VARCUT 2155 is based on high viscosity index hydro treated base oils and advanced synthetic mono esters combined with high performance active sulphur EP and lubricity additives.
VARCUT 2155 will give a number of benefits when machining particularly difficult materials e.g. stainless steel on sliding head machine tools, (Star, Citizen, Index). In addition to those described on this sheet the machine speeds and feeds can be increased which reduces the time taken to complete production runs – which frees machine time to increase machining capacity. VARCUT 2155 can be used for all forms of grinding, is suitable for use as a lubricating oil where a viscosity grade of ISO 15 is acceptable.
VARCUT 2155 is NOT suitable for use on yellow metals such as copper or brass.
